New Faces at Petershill

Tom Scott reports

PETERSHILL co-managers Willie Paterson and Paul Kelly have been working overtime to recruit new faces before
they open with a pre-season friendly against Partick Thistle Under-20 on Saturday, July 18 ( 2pm).

The squad started back for pre-season training with a mixture of Sports Science – incidentally for the second year running and plenty of ball work under the guidance of their backroom staff.

The latest recruit is ex-Clydebank and Annan Athletic striker Scott Davidson.

He joins the following list: defenders Fraser Chisholm ( Renfrew Juniors), Fraser McGhee (Clyde F.C.), former Northern Ireland youth internationalist Peter Bradley, James Brough ( East Kilbride F.C. Lowland League), Chris Ketterer ( Campsie Black Watch), James Brown ( Cumbernauld United), midfield pair Darren MacLean and Chris Craig ( Kilbirnie Ladeside), left-sided midfielder Andy Cross ( Shotts Bon Accord) central midfielder Martyn Shields
(East Stirling ), striker Michael Daly, who came on loan mid-way through last season from Clyde and has since been released by Bully Wee boss Barry Ferguson, and Dylan Connor, a goalscorer just finished with Under-21 football at Tower Hearts.
