First up I am backing Hurlford to beat Pollok in the first leg of the Scottish Junior Cup at 21/20. There is nothing spectacular about this Hurlford side but they are extremely professional and these are the sort of games where they always seem to get the job done. I think they will give themselves a lead to defend in the second leg.
Next I am backing Glenrothes at 8/5 to beat Kirriemuir in the East Region. This really is a must win game if they are going to keep their title hopes alive. As mentioned before I am never convinced that home advantage means much at this level so am happy to take the bigger price on the away team.
Finally, I am going for Stonehaven to beat Banks O Dee in the North Region at 11/5. This looks like being a title decider with the teams currently 6/5 and 11/8 to win the league. Stonehaven have played five games left and it is always difficult to play catch up but there is nothing between the sides and once again I think the value lies with the away side.
