Released Gow Keeper In Search For New Club

By Chief Reporter Tom Scott

WITH the Exselgroup Sectional League Cup qualification games now complete and most junior teams having played three domestic fixtures, goalkeeper Cameron Sinclair is faced with the prospect of looking for a new club after being released by Lesmahagow.

The South Side of Glasgow custodian, who won the Scottish Under-19 Youth League with Queens Park not so long ago, spoke exclusively to the juniors.info site and revealed: “I got a phone call from the Gow last night (Wednesday) to tell me they were releasing me this morning.

“Totally out of the blue! I really liked the set-up, and they had a good goalkeeper coach who set-up proper drills – the way I have been brought up over the years.”

Cammy has good experience of Under-21 football, and would also consider a switch back to amateur football, where he played in the Scottish Cup semi-finals and won the Caledonian Amateur League Premier Division with Glasgow Harp under ex-Shettleston, Vale of Clyde and Beith Juniors centre-back John Crooks.

For more information, he can be contacted at 07775 691514.
