Rossvale became only the second side to beat Cambuslang in the league this season after winning 3-2 at Somervell Park, leaving Rangers just seven points ahead of St. Roch’s after their win at Robertson Park. Vale fought back with a second half Doherty brace before Forbes fired in a late winner from the penalty spot six minutes from time.

Benburb suffered a rare defeat on their visit to Ravenscraig, where Greenock took the three points with a 2-0 victory. Greenock took the lead on 21 minutes when a 25 yard free kick into the Benburb penalty area was deflected past the keeper. Bens were then reduced to nine men and Greenock ten, and Nock made the extra body count when Brown knocked in from a Donnelly cross. The match ended in farce as Bens were reduced further to eight and Nock to nine.

Forth marked their first league match since December by recording their third consecutive draw and a share of the points with Vale of Clyde. Wanderers went two goals in front before half time, when Roddy Hunter scored after just four minutes and Taylor Scott after forty. But Forth couldn’t hold onto the lead and Vale fought back to score from the penalty spot then snatch a second, fifteen minutes from time to level the match at 2-2.

Craig scored a brace within the space of a minute to give his side a 2-0 lead going into half time, more was to follow when Gibson, Forrester and Munro made it five.

Royal Albert moved up into ninth after a 5-2 win against St. Anthony’s made it back to back wins. Albert took the lead against the run of play after 12 minutes when Liam O’Kane headed in at the back post, then added another ten minutes later. They then missed a spot kick before Ants pulled one back but Albert restored the two goal lead when Scott McLachlin headed in a third. Barry Murdoch scored a fourth from the spot early in the second half, again against the run of play. The fifth came from an unfortunate own goal before Ants scored a second.

The match at Lochburn Park between Maryhill and Linlithgow Rose was postponed.

Rose went ahead on 18 minutes when Adam Nelson struck from a 25 yard free kick straight into the back of the net. The second came three minutes into injury time when keeper Michael Andrews launched the ball up field, Keiran McGachie laid the ball off for Ross Archibald who then struck home.
