9-1-2 WWWLWW 4/7 Cambuslang Rangers 9/2 Renfrew 9/4 WLWXWL 9-2-3

Third versus second, Rangers are one point behind Renfrew and seven behind leaders Peasy with a couple of games in hand over both. They’ve won five of their last six in the league, including a 4-0 win away at Renfrew in November. Defensively a little worse than Renfrew but scoring three compared to Renfrew averaging 1.7. ‘Frew have won three, drawn one and lost one in the league since that defeat against Rangers back in November.

5-4-5 LWWLXX 17/10 Darvel Juniors 4/1 Troon 4/5 WLWLWL 7-3-3

Troon are fifth with twenty-four points from thirteen games and Darvel sixth, with nineteen points from fourteen. The Seasider’s beat the men from Recreation Park 2-1 at the beginning of December and since losing to Medda on the opening day, Troon have lost a further twice against first and second Peasy and Renfrew. Since losing to Troon, Darvel have won two of three league games losing 2-0 to Largs, the only time they’ve lost by more than the odd goal.

3-3-5 LLWWLX 13/5 Kello Rovers 9/2 Largs Thistle 1/2 XLWWWX 7-4-5

Rovers trail fourth placed Theesel by thirteen points having played five games less, they were beaten 3-1 by Largs back in September but have won two of their last three league games, losing to Glencairn and beating Shettleston and Medda. Larg’s last seven league games has seen them win three, draw three and lose narrowly at home to Medda.

3-2-8 LLLLWL 2/1 Kilsyth Rangers 4/1 Rutherglen Glencairn 7/10 LWWLWW 5-1-5

Kilsyth are sitting fourth from bottom, four places and five points below Glens having played a couple of times more. After a decent spell in September to early November, their form has fell away again and they’ve lost all last four in the league. Glens have picked themselves up since losing their first three league outings to win five, draw one and lose just two of their last eight league games, their first win of the league season was a 5-1 win against Kilsyth.

2-1-8 LLLWLX 8/13 Larkhall Thistle 21/5 Shettleston 11/5 LLWLLW 2-2-10

Thistle are second from bottom with just seven points from eleven played, Shettleston one place and one point better off having played three more games. Both sides have shed plenty of goals, but Thistle are scoring two a game whilst Town are struggling with a touch under one a game. The last time the sides met at Greenfield early in the season, Larkhall took the honours in an exciting 5-3 victory.

11-2-1 XWWLLW 1/6 Petershill 13/2 Maryhill LLLXXX 13/2 0-5-7

Leaders Peasy will be going all out for the win after dropping points last week whilst promotion rivals Cambuslang and Renfrew are fighting amongst themselves this weekend. Peasy beat Maryhill 2-1 in September and have only dropped seven from a possible forty-two points. Hill are still bottom and awaiting their first league win of the season and lost 6-3 to Cambuslang Rangers at Lochburn on Saturday.
